Vitamins

On my train journey into work i reached into my bag and popped a multi vitamin tab!

I then proceeded to wonder wether or not it is better to take Vitamins? eg, multivitamin tablets that give you the RDA of 100% for everything that your body needs? the way i do...
or is it better to just eat healthy? and get Vitamins from eating the right foods?

Granted i have a mixed diet and eat so much spinach that I could put Popeye to shame! lol but im not neccesarily getting all of the vitamins which a tab can provide me with or am i?!
Which foods can you realistically find on a daily basis that will provide you with ALL of the right vitamins? so conviniently?

I realise that ultimately they both do the same thing but i wonder if having them in the form of a tablet have any health risks in the long term...Are they really providing me with what they say on the bottle or am i sucking on a placebo?...


Makes me wonder...

    I'll try this post again since I fail and missed out a word.
    It's much, much better to get your vitamins and nutrients from fresh foods than to eat crap and supplement the crap you eat with pills. Your body not only needs the vitamins in food but it also needs the energy. Buy fresh, loose fruit and veg from a market and only buy what you need for that night. Otherwise, you'll end up throwing food out when it goes bad.
    Now, if I only I could take my own advice...
    Happy blogging--I've had mine for ages and it's still barren.
